 The Association of Property Owners of the Hideout, Inc. is a Gold Star Private Gated Four Season Recreational Community in Northeastern Pennsylvania seeking candidates for the following positions: 

 
RECREATION DEPARTMENT
 
 

POOL/BEACH OFFICERS

Maintain the enforcement responsibility for adopted Rules and Regulations as they pertain to Pool & Beaches. Ensure the public safety of Association members, guests and employees.

EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least one-year experience in security position preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of radio communications helpful.

  • First Aid/AED/EMT certification a plus.

  • Able to remain calm in an emergency situation.

  • Must be available weekends and holidays.

     

FOOD AND BEVERAGE DEPARTMENT

FACILITIES DEPARTMENT

CUSTODIAN

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
•    Sweeps and mops vinyl and tiled floors in all facilities on a daily basis.
•    Vacuums & Shampoos carpeted floors in all facilities on as needed basis.
•    Cleans windows and mirrors in all facilities on as needed basis.
•    Cleans and disinfects toilets, urinals, sinks, showers and countertops in all facilities on a daily basis.
•    Checks and re-stock toilet paper, paper towels and soap dispensers in all facilities on a daily basis.
•    Empties trash and recycling receptacle from restrooms, offices and conference rooms in all facilities on a daily basis.
•    Removes dirt, finger prints, and smudges from interior wall surfaces in all facilities on a daily basis.
•    Sweeps patios, decks, ramps and walks on all facilities on a daily basis.
•    Prepares and provides Facilities Supervisor of custodial supplies that are to be ordered.
•    Monitors and inform Facilities Supervisor of Maintenance deficiencies or mechanical problems found during custodial duties.

OTHER DUTIES:
•    Dust all ledges, windowsills, doors and window trim, ceiling vents and furniture.
•    Polish all wood work.
•    Clean and polish all drinking fountains.
•    Strip and wax floors.
•    Maintain a professional looking vehicle.
•    Fill out “Custodial Task Checklist.”
•    May occasionally transport and deliver supplies and other light items
•    Be available to perform custodial duties during Special Events.
•    Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Department Management.
•    Always represent The Hideout in a professional manner.
Maintain pride in the property by picking up debris and litter whenever encountered



 
PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT


 
 

PATROL OFFICERS (FULL-TIME/PART-TIME) 

Ensure the public safety of Association members, guests, employees, and contractors. Maintain the enforcement responsibility for adopted Rules and Regulations. Maintain radio communications with North Gate Control Center and other patrol vehicles. 

 
EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid Driver’s License.

  • Certification in ACT 235 preferred. 

  • Must be available weekends and holidays.

  • Work is performed inside and outside with exposure to inclement weather and unpredictable situations.  

 

COMMUNICATIONS OFFICERS (FULL-TIME/PART-TIME)

Coordinate emergency responses from Police, Fire and Emergency Response personnel. Maintain Command and Control Center for the Community. Keep radio communications between Control and Patrol Vehicles open at all times. Issue guest, visitor and contractor passes as warranted.

EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  •     Must be 18 years old.
  •     Ability to communicate effectively with members, guest and vendors.
  •     Basic knowledge of Radio Communications a plus.
  •     Basic knowledge of First Aid/AED/EMT a plus.
