Hideout POA

ECC

ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL COMMITTEE

This is a mandated committee as required by the Protective Covenants of the POA.

The ECC functions are multi-faceted: To approve plans for improvements on any lot, new buildings, renovations on existing buildings, landscaping, color and composition of exterior materials used in construction; to disapprove any application that does not meet all codes/construction requirements of the building codes of the Hideout POA and National Codes. Also, a stop work order can be issued at any stage of construction.

The Public Works Director reviews all permit applications with the ECC and then checks on all construction.

Any violations that need to be addressed or fines that need to be levied will be referred to the Security Chief, then to the ECC officer designated by the Chief for compliance.

The Board is seeking applications for the Hideout Enviornmental Control Committee (ECC). Applicant should have working knowledge of Hideout Governing Documents. In addition, a working knowledge in construction and reading and interpreting plans is desirable. Protective Covenants identify the responsibility of the ECC in the General Powers Section [A]. Any member interested in serving on this committee is requested to send a resume to the Board of Directors at the POA Office and/or email the Community Manager at rgraf@thehideout.us.
