Hideout Sportsman's Association

Hideout Sportsman’s Association
Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania
Established in 1995

An Open Letter To The Property Owners Of The Hideout
The Hideout Sportsman’s Association is seeking “New Members.”
Along those lines I’d like to introduce this very fine club. The
Hideout Sportsman’s Association was established in 1995 and has been
growing stronger ever since. We currently stand at a membership
number of twenty seven (27) active members.
We are associated with two very strong groups. The first being the
National Rifle Association (NRA) under which we are registered as a
Senior club (meaning that currently we do not have a formal Junior
program). The second being the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) a
group that in concert with the NRA publish and control the
regulations drafted for the control of various shooting programs.
Additionally the CMP is the agency through which the Federal
Government sells surplus military firearms and ammunition.
Our club currently runs three different types of shooting programs.
• Handgun competition and practice held at an indoor range.
• High power rifle competition and practice held at a PA Game
Commission outdoor
range.
• Shotgun clay bird shooting held locally.

We currently have eight (8) NRA certified instructors or range
safety officers and are currently making arrangements for additional
training and certifications. Some of our members are ex-servicemen or
ex-police officers and some have developed their skills from various
training classes or groups.
If you were a shooter and have gotten away from it or if you would
be interested in learning how to safely shoot and enjoy firearm
programs you need to contact me for more information as indicated below.
Yours truly, Michael G. Coppola, President, mcoppola@echoes.net,
