GARDEN CLUB

The Garden Club meets every Wednesday at 9am during the growing season.  All are welcome to join.  For more imformation on the Garden Club, please call Barbara Wertz at 698-9943.

The Hideout Garden Club consists of 70 members whose purpose is the beautification of The Hideout. Toward this end, the Garden Club plants and maintains the following areas:

The Arboretum, Main Gate, Flag Pole Area, Main Logo Area, POA Building, Antler Road, Main Lodge, Westwood (Gazebo) Area, Art Center, North Gate, North Recreation, Clubhouse and Golf Course.

The preparation and planting of trees, shrubs and flowers starts in March
and continues to October of each year. Spraying, weeding, fertilizing, trimming, weed whacking and watering goes on continuously during
the spring, summer and fall.

The Garden Club received funds from the POA Board. Funds are also raised through the Fall Boutique, Spring Flower Sale, Holiday Wreath making and donations.
